Beginner Ballet Barre
Within this Beginner Barre instruction we'll focus on three areas that directly affect all of the dance elements a gymnast will do on floor or beam. These three areas were specifically chosen to improve our toe point, turnout, musicality, posture and amplitude, which all add to our artistry score. Beginner Floor Barre
Welcome to Beginner Floor Barre! In this course we'll be doing isolated ballet movements on the floor, which conditions very specific groups of muscles that have been targeted as those which directly affect our dance and artistic execution in gymnastics. Whether it's leaps, jumps, turns, toe point, turn out, musicality or amplitude, each and every area is positively effected through these fundamental floor barre movements. This program can be used as a warm up, cool down, core conditioning or as a side station.
Welcome to Acting Class! In this lesson, we will explore the power of thoughts and emotions as we connect them to our floor routines. Our thoughts and emotions are powerful tools that we can use to convey a story and create a powerful connection with the audience. In these short exercises we'll be practicing using our imagination in order to connect a thought or feeling with our faces, body movements and choreography.
DFG Musicality Lesson
A class dedicated to musicality, learning what it is, and how to use it to infuse our FX routines with a whole new level of life, story and expression. In this class we'll pull a song apart into its different layers and choreograph to each layer according to how it feels.
